Our Solar Road Stud is truly self-contained and independently powered by the latest solar power cell technology that requires no external power source of energy to operate, other than the available sunlight. Conventional pavement reflectors are only visible to drivers when the headlight beam is directly reflected back to the driver. L.E.D. illumination from our Solar Road Stud is visible to drivers much earlier and ahead of the reaches of their own headlight beam. This is especially effective around sharp curves. In rainy conditions, the effective visible range of conventional reflectors is significantly reduced. The luminosity of the reflector plate suffer greatly when its surface is wet. High intensity L.E.D. beam from Solar Road Stud is unaffected by wet surfaces and continues to be effective in rainy conditions. One of the most pronounced benefits of the Solar Road Stud is its fog-penetrating, high intensity L.E.D. light beam that remains visible at a much greater range in comparison to the conventional reflectors.
